Training platforms

Training platforms and e-learning portals

Share knowledge with customers, partners and employees in one place. We design platforms for selling courses, onboarding new people and delivering training with progress tracking.

01For whom?

A training portal for your learning model

A training company needs a catalog of courses, purchasing access and a convenient participant panel. The HR team needs to assign training to groups, set deadlines, and complete completion reports. A network of partners - product materials and role-based access.

We start with the way of learning: independently, with a live trainer or in a mixed model. The project includes the participant's path and the work of people who prepare materials and answer questions.

Selling knowledge

Single courses, packages or periodic access in an agreed model.

Internal training

Onboarding, groups, tasks, reminders and reports for presenters.

Customer or partner academy

Product knowledge, instructions and materials available after logging in.

02Courses and progress

Courses, tests and participant progress in the LMS

We organize courses into modules and lessons with videos, documents, exercises and tests. We define the conditions for completion and the rules of access to the next stage. The participant dashboard shows what has been done and where to return to learning.

Reports help the facilitator check progress, results and arrears. The certificate may be issued after meeting certain conditions; its content and meaning are determined by the training organizer.

The participant's journey
  1. Access

Purchase, enrollment or assignment by a company.

  2. Science

Lessons, exercises and contact with the teacher.

  3. Completion

Check the conditions and record the result.

  4. Further development

Another course, materials and history of science.

03Sales and integrations

Selling courses and integrating the platform with the company

We combine the catalog and payment with granting access. We determine the validity period, group purchases, cancellations, returns and response to failed payments. Recurring settlements require the support of the selected platform and payment operator.

An LMS can exchange data with a CRM, FileMaker or an HR system. Corporate sign-in, webinars, email and invoicing are separate integrations. For video content, we choose a storage and playback service to suit the audience size.

04Platform selection

Moodle, website extension or dedicated portal?

We compare the existing LMS, a solution connected to the store and a portal created for a specific process. Moodle can handle course and participant management; an individual interface or unusual sales rules may require extensions and integrations.

For existing learning materials, we check the format, playback, result tracking and compatibility with the selected platform version. SCORM packages and H5P content need a separate test using a real course; naming the standard alone does not establish full compatibility.

  • Roles of participant, trainer, editor and administrator.
  • Completion conditions, reporting and export of results.
  • Transferring accounts, materials and learning history.
  • License, extension, video, hosting and maintenance costs.
05Implementation and care

Launch of the training platform on a pilot course

The first course allows you to check registration, payment, access, learning on the phone and the instructor's report. We also test the expiration of permissions and returning to an interrupted task. The organizer receives instructions for adding content and handling participants.

We establish a plan for updating, copying and restoring data. For larger groups, we verify the load and the method of video distribution so that the lessons and tests work while the participants work at the same time.

Questions and answers

Before making a decision

Is this a FileMaker training offer?

This is an offer to design platforms for conducting your own training. Our FileMaker training courses have a separate page with programs and learning principles.

Can we use existing videos and courses?

Yes, after checking the formats, organization of materials and capabilities of the target LMS. Before migration, we test a sample course, test score and history transfer, if available.

Can the platform combine recorded courses with webinars?

Yes. We design a common schedule, registration and access to materials, and combine live meetings with the selected webinar service. How attendance is recorded depends on its interfaces.

Let’s start with a conversation

Who do you want to train and how to share knowledge?

Describe your audience, number of courses, materials you have, and how you will sell or grant access. We will select the platform and scope of the first stage.
